Further to the Company’s announcement made on 3 July 2017 ("Announcement") relating to the members' voluntary winding-up, the Company wishes to announce that the Liquidator has on 25 November 2021 confirmed that MUI Continental Berhad, a 52.21%-owned subsidiary of Novimax (M) Sdn Bhd, which is in turn a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company, had been dissolved on 24 May 2021 pursuant to Section 459(5) of the Companies Act 2016.

As stated in the Announcement, the winding-up is to simplify the structure of the MUIB Group, reduce costs associated with maintaining the subsidiary and has no financial or operational effect on the MUIB Group.
