The Board of Directors (the “Board”) wishes to announce that the 2 main factories of the Company which are located at Perindustrian Cheras Jaya, Balakong (collectively referred as the "Factories”) have been badly affected by the flood due to the continuous heavy rain on 18 and 19 December 2021. The Factories are involved in the production of manufacturing of car carpets, car mats insulators, silencers, trunk carpets and other components inclusive commercial carpets. 

The estimated downtime of the Factories will be approximately 2 weeks and the production and delivery to the customers will be delayed accordingly. The Company is unable to quantify the damages and consequence losses at this juncture as the Company is still in the process of assessing the damages caused. Nonetheless, all the assets are adequately covered by insurance. 

The Board will make further announcement on the financial and operational impacts as well as consequences in relation thereto as and when there is new development on this matter.
