The terms used herein, unless the context otherwise stated, bear the same meaning as those defined in the earlier announcements in relation to the Proposals. Reference is made to the announcements dated 5 May 2021, 28 May 2021, 28 July 2021, 2 August 2021, 8 September 2021, 28 September 2021, 22 November 2021, 29 November 2021, 30 November 2021 and 9 December 2021 in relation to the Proposals. On behalf of the Board, UOBKH wishes to announce that the High Court had on 31 January 2022 granted an order confirming the Capital Reduction ("Court Order") pursuant to Section 115(a) read together with Section 116 of the Companies Act, 2016 ("Act"). The sealed copy of the Court Order will be extracted and lodged with the Registrar pursuant to Section 116(6) of the Act for the Capital Reduction to take effect. The effective date of the Capital Reduction will be announced in due course.
