We refer to the Company's announcements made on 18 November 2021, 19 November 2021, 30 November 2021, 28 December 2021, 7 January 2022 and 17 February 2022 in respect of the judicial management application filed by Maybank Islamic Berhad against its wholly owned subsidiary, Khee San Food Industries Sdn Bhd.

The Company's solicitors, Messrs Krish Maniam & Co. had notified the Company that on 4 March 2022, this matter came up for Hearing for Enclosure 1 (Applicant's Originating Summons), Enclosure 47 (Khee San Berhad’s Notice of Application for Leave to Intervene) and Enclosure 57 (Tunai Impian Enterprise Sdn Bhd’s Notice of Application for Leave to Intervene).

The Court had allowed Tunai Impian Enterprise Sdn Bhd to intervene this proceeding as secured creditor. The decision of Enclosure 47 shall be given on 1 April 2022.

The Court had also directed for the following in relation to Enclosure 1: -

1. Tunai Impian Enterprise Sdn Bhd and Khee San Berhad (if Enclosure 47 allowed on 1 April 2022) to file their respective affidavit in reply on or before 15 April 2022;

2. The Applicant to file affidavit in reply on or before 22 April 2022; and

3. Parties to file their respective written submissions on or before 29 April 2022.

The Hearing of Enclosure 1 has been fixed on 24 May 2022.

The Company will make the necessary announcements to Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad as and when there are further developments in relation thereof and/or upon receipt of any further directions by the Court.
