The Board of Directors of Pansar wishes to announce the appointment of Mr David Tai Wei as Chief Operating Officer effective 1 April 2022.

Mr Tai, aged 38, a Malaysian, holds a Bachelor of Arts (Law) from the University of Oxford, United Kingdom.

Mr Tai joined Pansar in 2015 as the Corporate Strategy Head before he assumed his current position as the General Manager-Business Divisions in 2018. Prior to joining Pansar, he served as an Assistant Vice President of an international investment group, with over seven years of experience in Singapore, London, India and Australia.

He is the nephew of Dato’ James Tai Cheong @ Tai Chiong, Chairman of Pansar, and Datuk Tai Hee, Managing Director of Pansar. Mr Tai does not hold directorship in any public company or any listed issuer and has not been convicted of any offence within the past five years.
