Reference is made to the announcements made by the Company on 9 July 2019 and 6 August 2019.

In relation to the Writ of Summons and The Statement of Claim filed on 25 September 2019, by PBJV Group Sdn Bhd and Barakah Offshore Petroleum Berhad against Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd and Petroleum Nasional Berhad, for the amount of RM1.02 billion, the High Court of Malaya on 31 March 2022 has dismissed the claim with cost amounting to RM400,000.00.

Upon receiving the decision, PBJV Group Sdn Bhd and Barakah Offshore Petroleum Berhad have immediately decided to file an appeal at the Court of Appeal against the said decision and shall await the grounds of judgment from the High Court to ascertain the basis of such dismissal.
