Reference is made to the Company’s announcement on 31 March 2022.

The Board of Directors of Dataprep wishes to provide information as follows:-

1. The value of the LOA.

The announcement dated 31 March 2022 only indicated on the appointment to supply and operate a COVID-19 Screening Service using Professional RTK Antigen and RT-PCR Rapid Molecular Testing at the Senai International Airport in Johor. As such, there is no contract and value indicated in the letters of appointment.

2. The commencement and completion dates of the LOA.

The appointment shall commence from 1 April 2022 until 31 March 2024 (for a period 2 years and/or other period as determined by Ministry of Health Malaysia).

3. Whether the LOA are renewable, If so, for how many years.

The letter of appointment did not indicate the appointment is renewable.

4. The financial effect of the LOA on the Group.

The financial effect from the appointment is subject to the number of travellers movement and number of COVID-19 screening performed at the entry point.

5. Whether the directors and/or major shareholders and/or persons connected with a director or major shareholder have any interest, direct or indirect, in the LOA, and the nature and extent of their interests.

None of the directors and/or major shareholders and/or persons connected with a director or major shareholder have any interest, direct or indirect, in the LOA, and the nature and extent of their interests from the appointment.

6. The risks in relation to the LOA.

As stated above, there is no contract awarded. However, the key business risk is the changes in the Government policies on the requirement for COVID-19 screening and number of COVID-19 screening performed at the entry point. Barring any unforeseen circumstances, we do not expect the supply cost to materially increase within the 2 years period.
