Unless otherwise stated, the definitions used in this announcement shall carry the same meanings as defined in the announcements dated 28 February 2019, 6 March 2019, 28 March 2019, 30 May 2019 and 7 February 2020 (“Announcements”).

Further to our Announcements, the Company wishes to announce that the Court of Appeal had on 12 April 2022 dismissed the Plaintiff’s Appeal with cost of RM30,000.00.
 
The Court of Appeal adopted the same view as that of the High Court that the termination of tenancy by the Defendant was not wrongful. 

The Plaintiff was given 30 days from 12 April 2022 to file an application for leave to appeal to the Federal Court if the Plaintiff wishes to appeal against the Court of Appeal’s decision. In this regard, the Plaintiff is in the midst of seeking legal advice on whether to appeal. 

The Company will make the necessary announcements to Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad on any further material development in relation to the above matter.
