Reference is made to the announcements dated 27 May 2021, 27 August 2021, 29 November 2021 and 10 March 2022 pertaining to the MOU with The Government of the State of Sabah for the purpose of procuring and importing Sinopharm COVID-19 vaccines into Malaysia, particularly into the State of Sabah whereas Kanger will be appointed by the Government as the sole and exclusive distributor of Sinopharm COVID-19 vaccines in the State of Sabah. The Board of Directors of Kanger wishes to announce that following the approval of Ministry of Health’s Drug Control Authority Malaysia of another company as the registered holder for Sinopharm COVID-19 vaccine in Malaysia, Kanger has on 18 May 2022 terminated the MOU with the Government. This announcement is dated 18 May 2022. |
