We refer to the announcements dated 25 February 2022 and 19 May 2022 in relation to the 2021 First and Final Dividend.

On behalf of the Board, UOB Kay Hian Securities (M) Sdn Bhd (“UOBKH”) wishes to announce that Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Bursa Malaysia Securities”) has, vide its letter dated 23 May 2022, resolved to approve the listing and quotation of up to 10,000,000 new ordinary shares to be issued pursuant to the 3rd DRP subject to the following conditions:-

1. Manulife and UOBKH must fully comply with the relevant provisions under the Main Market Listing Requirements pertaining to the implementation of the 3rd DRP;
2. Manulife and UOBKH to inform Bursa Malaysia Securities upon the completion of the 3rd DRP;
3. Manulife to furnish Bursa Malaysia Securities with a written confirmation of its compliance with the terms and conditions of Bursa Malaysia Securities’ approval once the 3rd DRP is completed;
4. Manulife to furnish Bursa Malaysia Securities with a certified true copy of the resolution passed by the shareholders approving the proposed renewal of authority for the DRP; and
5. Payment of additional listing fee, if any, based on the final issue price together with a copy of the details of the computation of the amount of listing fees payable.
