We refer to the Company’s following earlier announcements made in relation to the Company being classified as an affected listed issuer under PN 17 of the Listing Requirements:-

(i)    first announcements dated 25 February 2022 and 28 February 2022 (“First Announcements”); and

(ii)   the subsequent announcements dated 1 April 2022 and 5 May 2022.

(collectively, referred to as the “Earlier Announcements”).

The terms herein shall bear the same meaning as defined in the Earlier Announcements.

The Company had on 1 June 2022, appointed Malacca Securities Sdn. Bhd. (“Malacca Securities”) as the Principal Adviser for its regularisation plan.

Pursuant to Paragraph 4.1(b) of PN 17 of the Listing Requirement, Malacca Securities, on behalf of the Board of Directors of EAT (“Board”), wishes to inform that the Company intends to formulate a plan which will not result in significant change in the business direction or policy of the Company to regularise its financial conditions (“Regularisation Plan”). Further announcement will be made to Bursa Securities with regards to the material development on the Regularisation Plan in due course.

The Company has approximately 9 months to submit its Regularisation Plan to the relevant regulatory authorities for approval.
