We refer to our announcement dated 12 March 2020 in relation to the Proposed Acquisition (“Announcement”).
The Board of Directors of YTL Power is pleased to announce that the Proposed Acquisition has been completed today for a cash consideration of SGD270.0 million (equivalent to approximately RM864.0 million, based on the prevailing exchange rate of SGD1.00:RM3.20).
The original purchase consideration of SGD331.45 million to be settled as to SGD230.0 million in cash and SGD101.452 million comprising ordinary shares and loan notes amounting to 7.54% of the post-acquisition equity in YTL Utilities (S) Pte. Limited, the immediate holding company of YTL PowerSeraya, has been reduced to a purely cash consideration of SGD270.0 million.
