UOADEV - Notice of Book Closure

First and final single tier dividend of 10 sen per ordinary share in UOA Development Bhd ("UOA Development" or the "Company") ("Share(s)") in respect of the financial year ended 31 December 2021 ("Final Dividend")

1)  The above Company's securities will be traded and quoted "Ex - Dividend” as from: 21 Jun 2022
2)  The last date of lodgment : 22 Jun 2022
3)  Date Payable : 21 Jul 2022

Remarks:

We refer to the announcements dated 26 May 2022, 30 May 2022 and 7 June 2022 in relation to the DRS ("Announcements"). Unless otherwise stated, the definitions used herein shall have the same meanings as set out in the Announcements.

On 24 February 2022, the Board had declared the Final Dividend and also determined that the DRS shall apply to the entire Final Dividend. On 25 May 2022, the shareholders of UOA Development had at the Company's Eighteenth (18th) Annual General Meeting approved the Final Dividend and authorised UOA Development to allot and issue such number of new Shares pursuant to the DRS.

On behalf of the Board, Kenanga IB had, on 7 June 2022, announced that the issue price of the new Shares to be issued pursuant to the DRS in respect of the Final Dividend has been fixed at RM1.63 per new Share. The relevant documents and the dividend reinvestment forms in relation to the DRS are expected to be despatched on 24 June 2022.
