We refer to the announcements dated 25 February 2022, 19 May 2022 and 24 May 2022 in relation to the 2021 First and Final Dividend.

On 25 February 2022, the Board had determined that the DRP (subject to relevant approvals being obtained) will be applicable to the 2021 First and Final Dividend of 7.0 sen per Manulife Share. In this regard, all approvals pursuant to the 3rd DRP have been obtained.

On behalf of the Board, UOBKH wishes to announce that the issue price of the New Shares to be issued pursuant to the 3rd DRP has been fixed today (“Price-Fixing Date”) at RM2.06 per New Share.

The issue price is computed based on the 5-day volume weighted average price (“VWAP”) of Manulife Shares immediately preceding the Price-Fixing Date of RM2.355, deducting the 2021 First and Final Dividend of RM0.07 per Manulife Share and thereafter applying a discount of approximately 10.0%.

On behalf of the Board, UOBKH also wishes to announce that the book closure date for the 2021 First and Final Dividend and 3rd DRP shall be on 29 June 2022.

Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the New Shares arising from the 3rd DRP is expected to be listed on the Main Market of Bursa Securities on 28 July 2022.
