Unless otherwise defined, the definitions used in this announcement shall have the same meanings as previously defined in the earlier announcement made on 14 June 2022 in relation to the same.

The Board of Directors (“the Board”) of SCBUILD wishes to announce that the Company’s solicitors received a letter from the Plaintiffs' solicitors, Messrs Terrence Lee & Co. on 15 June 2022 stating that as the Plaintiffs' application for an interlocutory injunction to stop the Extraordinary General Meeting (which is to be convened on 24 June 2022) has yet to be heard, committal proceedings will be brought against the Board of Directors in the event the Company convenes and conducts the said Extraordinary General Meeting before the application is heard and disposed of.

Having consulted the Company's solicitors, the Board wishes to announce that it would not be appropriate to convene the said Extraordinary General Meeting at this juncture and therefore the said meeting will be adjourned to another date to be determined later, subject to the outcome of the injunction application.
