The Board of Directors of Permaju Industries Berhad (“Permaju” or the “Company”) wishes to announce that Genbayu Gemilang Sdn. Bhd. (“GGSB”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company had on 22 June 2022 entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (“MOU”) with Malaysian Cocoa Board (“MCB”) (GGSB and MCB collectively referred to as the “Parties” and individually as “Party”). The Parties are desirous in collaborating on the development of Cocoa Smart Farming (“CSF”) at the Permaju Bukit Gangis Plantation upon the terms and conditions as contained therein the MOU.
