The Board of Directors of Southern Acids (M) Berhad ("Company" or "SAB") wishes to announce that the Company propose to seek approval from its shareholders for the renewal of and new shareholders' mandate for SAB and/or its subsidiaries to enter into recurrent related party transactions of a revenue or trading nature at the forthcoming 41st Annual General Meeting ("AGM") of the Company.

The shareholders' mandate approved by the Company's shareholders at the previous 40th AGM of the Company held on 27 August 2021 will lapse at the conclusion of the forthcoming 41st AGM of the Company, unless authority for its renewal is obtained from the shareholders at the said 41st AGM.

A Circular to Shareholders on the Proposed Renewal of Shareholders' Mandate for Existing Recurrent Related Party Transactions of a Revenue or Trading Nature and Proposed New Shareholders' Mandate for Additional Recurrent Related Party Transactions of a Revenue or Trading Nature together with the Annual Report of the Company for the financial year ended 31 March 2022, will be despatched to the shareholders of SAB in due course.
