We refer to the Company’s announcements made on 27 April 2022, 18 April 2022 and 12 April 2022. Unless otherwise stated, the definitions and terms used herein shall have the same meaning as defined in the previous announcements.
The Board of Directors of GIIB wishes to inform that both the Plaintiff and the Defendant has recorded a consent judgment whereby the Defendant is injuncted and prevented from filing of a winding up petition against the Plaintiff based upon their notice dated 22 March 2022 issued under Section 466(1) of the Companies Act 2016 until the disputed debt claimed by the Defendant is determined and proved through the existing process of law unless the Plaintiff obtains an order for a stay of execution against any order (if any) obtained by the Defendant. The Defendant is to pay costs of RM5,000.00 to the Plaintiff.
The Company will make the necessary announcements on material development in respect of this matter as and when necessary.
