The Board of Directors of SHH Resources Holdings Berhad ("SHH") wishes to announce that Metro Court Sdn Bhd ("MCSB"), a wholly owned subsidiary of SHH Furniture Industries Sdn Bhd, which in turn is a wholly-owned subsidiary of SHH has at its Extraordinary General Meetings held on 30 June 2022, obtained the approval to commence its members' voluntary winding-up pursuant to Section 439(2)(a) of the Companies Act 2016. Dato' Teo Wee Cheng and Ms. Pang Kah Man have been appointed to act jointly and severally as the Liquidators of MCSB.

MCSB is currently dormant and has no intention to carry on business or operations in the future. The winding-up enables SHH to eliminate unnecessary administrative costs in maintaining dormant subsidiary. The voluntary winding-up of MCSB is not expected to have any material impact on the earnings and net assets of SHH for the financial year ending 30 June 2022.

Save for Dato' Teo Wee Cheng whom has been appointed as Joint Liquidator, none of the other Directors or major shareholders of SHH and/or persons connected to them have any interest, direct of indirect, in the voluntary winding-up of MCSB.
