Year 2013 - Joined Senheng Electric (KL) Sdn. Bhd. ("SHKL") as an account executive and was responsible to handle Senheng's corporate accounts includes data key in, bank reconciliation, control cash flows and to prepare audit listing for inter-companies and SHKL.
Year 2014 - Promoted as head of department for corporate accounts department to oversee full set accounts of a total of 23 related companies, includes audit, treasury, tax, tracking of company performance and monthly report and updates to management.
Year 2016 - Transferred to oversee full set accounts of SHKL, including General Ledger (GL), Audit, Treasury, Investment, Taxation and Account Payable (AP).
Year 2019 to 2022 - Promoted as Division head of Finance, oversee the overall finance related matters within SHKL, leading 6 departments includes Financial Treasury & Investment, Finance Planning and Analysis, Procurement, Credit Control, Management Account and Non Trading Income.
She has been responsible for the preparation of Groups financial and accounting reporting and managing the accounts departments day-to-day functions, manage group funding requirements, enhance and propose strategic financial accounting policies and reporting systems, ensure compliance with auditor and tax agents, conducting reviews and evaluations for cost-control and cost-reduction opportunities, review and improve the standard operating procedures of the accounts department, assess financial risks and opportunities, track financial goals, objectives and budgets. |
