REX - Notice of Rights Entitlement (Ratio)

RENOUNCEABLE RIGHTS ISSUE OF 164,417,645 NEW ORDINARY SHARES IN REX INDUSTRY BERHAD ("REX") ("REX SHARE(S)") ("RIGHTS SHARE(S)") AT THE ISSUE PRICE OF RM0.10 PER RIGHTS SHARE, ON THE BASIS OF 1 RIGHTS SHARE FOR EVERY 3 EXISTING REX SHARES HELD, TOGETHER WITH 54,805,881 FREE DETACHABLE WARRANTS IN REX ("WARRANT(S)") ON THE BASIS OF 1 WARRANT FOR EVERY 3 RIGHTS SHARES SUBSCRIBED FOR, AS AT 5.00 P.M. ON MONDAY, 1 AUGUST 2022 ("RIGHTS ISSUE WITH WARRANTS")
 

Kindly be advised of the following :

1)    The above Company’s securities will be traded and quoted “EX-RIGHTS ISSUE” as from: 29 Jul 2022
2)    The last date of lodgment : 01 Aug 2022
3)    Retention Money: Where securities are not delivered in time for registration by the seller, then the brokers concerned:-
       a)    Selling Broker to deduct <1/4>, of Selling Price against the Selling Client
       b)    Buying Broker to deduct <10%>, of Purchase Price against the Buying Client
       c)    Between Broker and Broker, the deduction of <1/4>, of the Transacted Price is applicable.

Remarks :

The abridged prospectus, together with the Notice of Provisional Allotment and the Rights Subscription Form relating to the Rights Issue with Warrants (collectively referred to as the "Documents") will only be despatched to the shareholders of the Company whose names appear in the Company's record of depositors as at 5.00 p.m. on Monday, 1 August 2022 ("Entitlement Date") ("Entitled Shareholders") at their registered address in Malaysia or who have provided the Share Registrar with an address in Malaysia in writing by 5.00 p.m. on the Entitlement Date. Entitled Shareholders who do not have a registered address in Malaysia and wish to provide their Malaysian address, should inform their respective stockbrokers or Securities Services (Holdings) Sdn Bhd to effect the change of address by the Entitlement Date.

The Documents are not intended to be (and will not be) issued, circulated, distributed in any countries or jurisdictions other than Malaysia. No action has been or will be taken to ensure that the Rights Issue with Warrants and the Documents comply with the law of any countries or jurisdictions other than the laws of Malaysia.
