We refer to the article with the title “Court finds criminal elements in Perak Corp case, refers it back to cops for further probe”, published in the online news portal of The Star on 19 September 2022 (referred to as the “the Online Article”). 

The Board of Directors is currently seeking legal advice on this matter in view that no legal papers and/or notices and/or documents were served on the Company. 

Notwithstanding the above, the Board of Directors is aware that this matter is to be investigated by PDRM and the Board of Directors shall provide full cooperation with PDRM in the course of their investigation.

In the interim, we maintain our position as per our announcement dated 10 June 2022 refuting the misleading and incorrect statements over alleged assets fraud made by YB Chong Zhemin. 

Further details will be announced as and when there is any development on the above matter.
