We refer to our below announcements

1. on 24 June 2014 pertaining to the Company’s dividend policy of not less than 40% of the annual net profit (“Dividend Policy”);
2. on 1 September 2022 in relation to the completion of the disposal of the Company’s 100% equity interest in Lee Soon Seng Plastic Industries Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of SCGM to Mitsui & Co., Ltd and FP Corporation (“Disposal”); and
3. The letter from Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad dated 2 September 2022 notifying SCGM is a Cash Company pursuant to Paragraph 8.03(1) of the Listing Requirements upon completion of the Disposal.

In connection therewith, the Board of Directors of SCGM wishes to on hold the Dividend Policy as it is not applicable for the time being.
