For illustration purposes, assuming no treasury share is resold in the open market prior to the Book Closure Date, the existing total number of 20,504,250 issued APT Shares (including 620,016 treasury shares) as at the date of this announcement will be subdivided into 82,017,000 Subdivided Shares (including 2,480,064 treasury shares).
The actual number of Subdivided Shares to be issued would depend on the total number of issued APT Shares on the Book Closure Date.
The Subdivided Shares will be listed and quoted on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad ("Bursa Securities") on 7 November 2022, being the next market day following the Book Closure Date.
The notices of allotment for the Subdivided Shares will be despatched to the entitled shareholders of the Company not later than 4 market days after the date of listing and quotation of the Subdivided Shares on Bursa Securities.
