ADVPKG - Notice of Book Closure

Subdivision of every 1 existing ordinary share in Advanced Packaging Technology (M) Bhd ("APT" or "Company") ("APT Share") held at 5.00 p.m. on 4 November 2022 ("Book Closure Date") into 4 APT Shares ("Subdivided Shares")
 

Kindly be advised of the following : 

1)  The above Company's securities will be traded and quoted "Ex - Offer” as from: 03 Nov 2022
2)  The last date of lodgment : 04 Nov 2022

Remarks 1:  "Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd would like to clarify that on the basis of settlement taking place after 4 November 2022 with share split of ADVPKG shares, any shareholder who is entitled to receive ADVPKG shares arising from the share split exercise, may sell any or all of his ADVPKG shares beginning the Ex-Date (3 November 2022).  
 
For example, if Mr X purchases 100 ADVPKG shares on cum basis on 2 November 2022, Mr X should receive 100 shares on 4 November 2022. As a result of the share split, 100 ADVPKG shares will be split into 400 shares in Mr X's CDS account on the night of 4 November 2022 being the Book Closing Date. Therefore, Mr X can sell the share split shares of 400 on or after the Ex-Date ie from 3 November 2022 onwards."

Remarks 2:-   For illustration purposes, assuming no treasury share is resold in the open market prior to the Book Closure Date, the existing total number of 20,504,250 issued APT Shares (including 620,016 treasury shares) as at the date of this announcement will be subdivided into 82,017,000 Subdivided Shares (including 2,480,064 treasury shares).

The actual number of Subdivided Shares to be issued would depend on the total number of issued APT Shares on the Book Closure Date.

The Subdivided Shares will be listed and quoted on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad ("Bursa Securities") on 7 November 2022, being the next market day following the Book Closure Date.

 The notices of allotment for the Subdivided Shares will be despatched to the entitled shareholders of the Company not later than 4 market days after the date of listing and quotation of the Subdivided Shares on Bursa Securities.
