Mr Chong has more than 15 years of experience in the accounting and finance profession. He started his career with various international accounting firms, before joining public listed companies in senior finance roles.

Prior to joining Samaiden Group Berhad as the Chief Financial Officer, he was the Senior Finance Manager of AYER Holdings Berhad ("AYER"). In AYER, he was responsible for the financial affairs of the group. He had also assumed the role as the Head of Risk to oversee the risk management and compliance matters of AYER group.
