The Board of Directors of DFCITY wishes to announce that the Company had on 16 November 2022 received a notice in writing dated 15 November 2022 pursuant to Section 281(1) of the Companies Act 2016 from Ecovis Malaysia PLT on their resignation as auditors of the Company and their term of office will end after twenty-one (21) days from the notice date, from 15 November 2022.

The resignation of Ecovis Malaysia PLT is on a voluntary basis as the Company wishes to appoint another auditors.

The Company has identified the new External Auditors and is currently in the midst of appointing them pursuant to Section 271(2) of the Companies Act 2016. Further announcement will be made by the Company once the appointment of new External Auditors is finalised.

Save for the above, the Board wishes to inform that the Company is not aware of any other matters that may be required to be brought to the attention of the shareholders of the Company.
