Unless otherwise stated, all definitions and terms used in this announcement shall have the same meanings as defined in the previous announcements.
Reference is made to TXB’s announcements dated 17 January 2022 and 21 January 2022 in relation to the above subject matter.
The Board of Directors of TXB wishes to announce that TXB had vide a letter dated 25 November 2022 withdrawn from the HOA (“Withdrawal”).
Upon the Withdrawal, the Company will no longer be a party to the Consortium and shall be absolved from all costs and liabilities from the consortium investment pursuant to the HOA.
The Withdrawal is not expected to have any material effect on the earnings, net assets and gearing of TXB for the financial year ending 31 December 2022.
None of the Directors and major shareholders of TXB and/or person connected to them have any direct or indirect interest in the Withdrawal.
