Reference is made to the Company's announcements dated 5 July 2021, 7 July 2021, 5 August 2021, 23 September 2021, 27 September 2021, 29 September 2021, 4 October 2021, 15 October 2021, 1 December 2021, 4 January 2022, 6 January 2022, 18 February 2022, 10 March 2022, 25 April 2022, 17 June 2022, 26 August 2022, and 30 September 2022 on the above matter.
Unless otherwise defined, the terms used herein shall have the same meaning as defined in the announcements.
The Company wishes to announce that the Company had on 29 November 2022, attended the Kuala Lumpur High Court via its solicitors, Messrs. Shook Lin & Bok for:-
i) the case management and hearing for the Plaintiff’s application dated 17.11.2022 to stay the trial of the abovecaptioned matter pending its Order 14A Appeal and to be granted leave to re-open its case (“the Plaintiff’s Enclosure 333 Application”);
ii) the trial of the abovecaptioned matter.
The Court dismissed the Plaintiff’s Enclosure 333 Application with costs. The 1st to 4th Defendants subsequently submitted “no case to answer” in respect of the Plaintiff’s claim.
The Court fixed 27 February 2023 for the hearing of the 1st to 4th Defendants’ submissions of no case to answer. The earlier scheduled trial date of 30 November 2022 has been vacated.
The Company will make further announcement on the above matter as and when there is a material development in relation thereof and/or upon receipt of any further directions and/or orders by the Court.
