We refer to the Company’s announcements dated 3 June 2022, 26 July 2022, 28 July 2022 and 24 November 2022 in relation to ECMLG’s non-compliance with the public shareholding spread requirement pursuant to Paragraph 8.02(1) of the Listing Requirements of Bursa Securities (“Public Spread Requirement”).

Based on the Record of Depositors of ECMLG dated 21 November 2022, the public shareholding spread of the Company was 22.58% and the Company has yet to comply with the Public Spread Requirement.

Bursa Securities had previously vide its letter dated 26 July 2022 granted the Company an extension of time of six (6) months until 2 December 2022 to comply with the Public Spread Requirement. 

The Company had on 25 November 2022 submitted an application to Bursa Securities for a further extension of time of six (6) months from 3 December 2022 to 2 June 2023 for the Company to comply with the Public Spread Requirement. The application is currently pending the decision from Bursa Securities.

The Company will make the appropriate announcements on the status of the application.
