Reference is made to the announcement dated 19 August 2022, 29 December 2022 and 12 January 2023 in relation to the above matter. The definitions and abbreviations in the said announcements shall apply herein. 

The Board of Directors of the Company wishes to announce that in reference to the filing of enforcement proceedings against JAKS-KACC JV ("JKJV") in the Kuala Lumpur  High Court vide Originating Summons No. WA-24C-1-01/2023, at the Case Management on 26 January 2023, JKJV had informed the Court regarding its intention to oppose TESB’s enforcement proceedings by filing a setting aside and stay application. Since these applications are inter-related, parties have been directed by the High Court to exhaust their respective affidavits before the next Case Management on 24 March 2023.

Further announcements on material developments in this matter will be made in due course.
