Sime Darby Plantation Berhad is aware of the notice from the United States Customs and Border Protection (USCBP) on the Federal Register website under the Public Inspection section (www.federalregister.gov/public-inspection/current#regular-filing-u-s-customs-and-border-protection).

We are optimistic that the tremendous strides we have made in bolstering the quality of life for our workforce will soon be recognised by the USCBP and that we will be allowed to resume exports to the United States. We will issue a statement on this matter once the notification is officially published on the Federal Register.
