The Board of Directors of Sunway REIT Management Sdn Bhd, the Manager for SUNREIT (the “Manager”), wishes to announce that SUNREIT intends to seek the approval of its unitholders for the proposed renewal of unitholders’ mandate for recurrent related party transactions (“RRPT”) of a revenue or trading nature which are necessary for day-to-day operations and are in the ordinary course of business of SUNREIT (“Proposed Renewal of RRPT Mandate”) at the forthcoming 10th Annual General Meeting (“AGM”) of SUNREIT.

SUNREIT had procured its unitholders' mandate at its last AGM held on 7 April 2022, to allow SUNREIT to enter into RRPT of a revenue or trading nature with the related parties. The unitholders' mandate will lapse upon the conclusion of the forthcoming 10th AGM unless the mandate is renewed. SUNREIT proposes to seek the approval of its unitholders for the Proposed Renewal of RRPT Mandate at its forthcoming 10th AGM.

A circular to unitholders containing the details of the Proposed Renewal of RRPT Mandate will be uploaded onto Sunway REIT’s website in due course.
