We refer to the Company’s announcement dated 20 October 2022 (“Announcement”) in relation to the Proposed Acquisitions. Unless otherwise defined, the definitions set out in the Announcement shall apply in this announcement.
On behalf of the Board, Affin Hwang IB wishes to announce that following the approval of the Company’s shareholders for the Proposed Acquisitions which was obtained at the extraordinary general meeting convened on 15 March 2023, the Property SPA has become unconditional as at the date of this announcement.
Completion of the Property SPA will take place within 14 working days of the satisfaction of the conditions for completion as stipulated in the Property SPA. In view that the completion of the Asset SPA and Shares SPA are conditional upon the completion of the Property SPA, both the Asset SPA and Shares SPA will be completed simultaneously with the Property SPA.
Further development on the Proposed Acquisitions will be announced in due course in accordance with Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Securities.
