Reference is made to the Company’s earlier announcements dated 2 August 2022, 1 September 2022, 6 September 2022, 30 September 2022 and 21 November 2022, circular to shareholders dated 30 November 2022 in relation to, amongst others, the Rights Issue with Warrants (“Circular”) and outcome of extraordinary general meeting dated 22 December 2022. Unless stated otherwise, abbreviations and definitions used throughout this announcement shall bear the same meaning as those defined in the Circular.

On behalf of the Board of Meridian, Malacca Securities wishes to announce that Bursa Securities, had vide its letter dated 19 April 2023, resolved to grant Meridian an extension of time of 3 months until 20 August 2023 to implement the Rights Issue with Warrants.
