The Board of Directors of Southern Acids (M) Berhad ("Company") wishes to announce that the Company propose to seek approval from its shareholders for the renewal of and new shareholders' mandate of SAB and/or its subsidiaries to enter into recurrent related party transactions of a revenue or trading nature at the forthcoming 38th Annual General Meeting ("AGM") of the Company.

The shareholders' mandate approved by the Company's shareholders at the previous 37th AGM of the Company held on 30 August 2018 will lapse at the conclusion of the forthcoming 38th AGM of the Company, unless authority for its renewal is obtained from the shareholders at the said 38th AGM.

A Circular to Shareholders on the Proposed Renewal of and New Shareholders' Mandate for Recurrent Related Party Transaction of a Revenue or Trading Nature together with the Annual Report of the Company for the financial year ended 31 March 2019, will be despatched to the shareholders of SAB in due course.
