We refer to our announcements dated 5 October 2011, 6 October 2011, 5 September 2012, 22 May 2014 and 18 October 2016.
The Company wishes to inform that the Special Commissioners of Income Tax, on 28 June 2024, has decided in favour of the Inland Revenue Board. The Notice of Assessment dated 22 September 2011 as well as the additional tax and penalty amounting to RM50,921,871.28 and RM22,914,840.73, respectively, which have been paid on 5 December 2016, are maintained.
BND will immediately commence its appeal before the High Court.
Further announcement will be made as and when there are material developments on the matter.
