On behalf of the Board of YTL Corp, Maybank IB wishes to announce that the following applications have been submitted to Bursa Securities:

(i)   listing application for the listing of and quotation for the Consideration Shares on the Main Market of Bursa Securities; and

(ii)  application for a waiver from having to comply with Paragraphs 6.04(c)(i) and 6.06(1) of the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Securities in respect of the requirement for YTL Corp to seek its shareholders’ approval for the allotment and issuance of the Consideration Shares to certain Directors and major shareholders of YTL Corp and persons connected with them who are also the Holders pursuant to the Offer.
