We refer to the announcement dated 22 October 2019 in relation to the Sukuk Murabahah Programme.
On behalf of DEHB, Maybank Investment Bank Berhad and United Overseas Bank (Malaysia) Bhd acting as the Joint Principal Advisers, Joint Lead Arrangers and Joint Lead Managers for the Sukuk Murabahah Programme are pleased to announce that DEHB has on 15 November 2019 completed the issuance of RM682.5 million in nominal value of Sukuk Murabahah comprising of 2 tranches as follows:
Tranche 1 Sukuk Murabahah of RM455.0 million is secured by a list of specified securities whilst Tranche 2 Sukuk Murabahah of RM227.5 million is unsecured but is guaranteed by Danajamin Nasional Berhad. The proceeds raised from the issuance of Tranche 1 Sukuk Murabahah and Tranche 2 Sukuk Murabahah shall be utilised to part finance the settlement sum (which shall include the principal and profit/interest amount due) for certain specified financing facilities of DEHB and its group of companies.
