MTD ACPI wishes to announce that its wholly-owned subsidiary, MTD Construction Sdn Bhd had on 11 November 2019, accepted the Letter of Acceptance from Lebuhraya Pantai Timur 2 Sdn Bhd dated 6 November 2019 and the terms and conditions as stated therein, in relation to the “Proposed Design and Build for Pavement Rehabilitation and Associated Works at KM413.20 to KM417.20 Southbound, Section E1, East Coast Expressway 2 (ECE2)” (“Works” or “Contract”) for a total contract sum of RM8,760,000.00.

The Works shall commence on 25 November 2019 and complete on 24 May 2020, within six (6) months period.

The Works will not have any material effect on the net assets and earnings of MTD ACPI Group (collectively referring to MTD ACPI and its subsidiaries) for the financial year ending 31 March 2020.

None of the Directors and/or major shareholders of MTD ACPI or persons connected with them have any interests, direct or indirect, in the Contract.

The Board is of the opinion that the acceptance of the Contract is in the best interest of the Company.
