律慈國際旗下全球微電網科技公司（GMGT）隨著政府新南向政策的腳步，第一階段以太陽能為主，已布局馬來西亞、泰國、越南及印尼等國家。其中，馬來西亞知名集團KPower相中此商機，與GMGT簽訂新台幣30億元的合作備忘錄，準備建構更完整的微電網。GMGT表示，23日將與KPower投資集團正式簽約。
　GMGT營運將鎖定風力、水力及地熱等項目，計畫在東南亞最適合發電的地方，把投資人及各類微電網發電結合在一起。另在台灣，擬與儲能大廠合作，讓台灣相關廠商成為全球再生能源發電的供應鏈。
　身兼GMGT創辦人、董事主席的律慈國際總經理林胡助表示，GMGT企圖成為全球首個再生能源創新平台，若運作順利，未來五年內計畫在那斯達克上市。
