To be safe, best to invest in good stock, preferably blue chip and business monopolistic in nature. meaning license to do business easy to get or not. Example my brother told me to invested in Bursa and Airport when the share price is down,as these are monopoly business in Malaysia. I bought Bursa at RM5.xx now its RM9.xx. Airport I bought in January 5.xx now its 6.xx. (not advising you to buy any of these ya) just invest in good business. Don't buy penny stocks as very volatile and don't go 'all in' as you can suffer big paper loss if don't have staying power and buying power to average down. Also do your own research and ask your remisier for advise as they want to earn your commission so they hope you will succeed. most of the time it's common sense. Gud luck!
Thats good to hear Lim. I also bought and sell GenT and GenM for small profits last year and really regretted doing it as I did not have enough funds and need to rebalance my portfolio. Now my portfolio all green except Allianz which hardly moves. This one got to wait until December to average down to off load. meanwhile I go find other opportunities

The completion of clinical trials of an Alzheimer’s drug by Genting Bhd’s unit, TauRx Pharmaceuticals Ltd, will provide greater visibility to its path to profitability, according to analysts.
