In California state of US, Dr Dean Blumberd said study show 40% covid infected people doesn't know they are infected in US. Base on this encouraging data,he suggesting that vaccination around 60% might resulting herd immunity. In conclusion, herd immunity maybe closer than we think.
RWLV submitted plans on 1 June 2020
for a proposed passenger station and tunnel that will
connect the resort to the Las Vegas Convention Centre
via underground tunnels and using the all-electric Tesla vehicles to swiftly transport passengers between the two
properties in less than two minutes of travel time.
This
proposal was approved by the Clark County Commission
on 5 August 2020 and the construction of this innovative transportation project will begin in March 2021.
Covid-19 cases spike in US . Over 70k new cases. Europe, India, many parts of Western countries also on lockdown. Malaysia too increased to 1800 yesterday. Travelling still restricted. I don't think Las Vegas casino going to be profitable anytime soon. My personal opinion. I been Vegas with my parents twice. Casino business are too competitive unlike in Asian countries with limited licences.
As king of recovery stock, no doubt Genting is only suitable for mid and long term investor. RWLV's profit predicted by market analyst to hit USD350 million in 2024. Expanding business moat is important in order to break thtough, this is why RWLV appear to be the only 5 star casino in Las Vegas. To make it more special, Genting work along with Tesla in carrying passenger through tunnel from Vegas convention center.
Take a trip to Las Vegas and experience surrounding casinos business yourself. Analysts Predictions???? Most Las Vegas resort offers free transportation , body guards and many others services as well coz competitions are fierce. Put your hope on Malaysian & Singapore Market not western Market. I own Genting bhd shares too. But not my major investment . Just my 2 cents. No offence
@ Tim, honestly almost all Genting share holders is putting hope to 100% owned Resort World Las Vegas. No doubt first few year RWLV is facing tough challenge. Malaysia and Singapore market is crucial for Genting Singapore and Genting Malaysia, anyway they only subsidiary company of Genting Berhad. If one predict RWLV is not profitable at all in future, one should not long term invest but short term trade Genting. No right no wrong, people come people go. Cheers son.
Tim, RWLV actually is making genting become more familiar. I know las vegas has a lot of casino, but do u think genting is so stupid build a casino over there with so much competitor and end up with loss? Surely, they had put a lot of effort and study before doing this big investment. And summore mostly famous casino are come frm las vegas and macau. When genting is famous, come to other country bid, this will be more advantage.
It is our opportunity to buy the GenT's share at low price (even the price had been happened to below 3.00 before) ! There is no doubt for us to wait for him to recover to normal operating within the few years in the future. If someone had already bought the share, congratulation ! You have made the right choice. This is my own opinion.
