I cant say for sure, but i read somewhere that a public company (berhad) can go private (sdn bhd). Of course there's procedure for it. If u still hold company share after they change to sdn bhd, the company can either buy back there share from u privately, or in the case of big amount of share, they can offer u to hold some % of company share, mean become company shareholders. But again, im not so sure about this. Just sharing what i read before this.
total share buy back is >60% of MacQ bank private placement. Private placement is to raise fund but the company is using higher sum for SBB. i am curious to find out more.
