Please be informed that the Securities Commission Malaysia and Bursa Malaysia Berhad will extend the temporary suspension of Intraday Short Selling to 31 December 2021. The temporary suspension of IDSS was introduced on 24 March 2020 to mitigate potential risks arising from heightened volatility and global uncertainties as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. It was extended on 22 February 2021 and is due to expire on 29 August 2021.
