Digi's shares (mil) increased from 7,775 to 11,731.51 in lieu of the merging between Celcom+Digi thus diluting our ownership. However, we should see higher income revenue, derived from Celcom+Digi revenues on going forward.
Based on my understanding of whom I owned DIGI shares, no change after the merger I think. From an accounting perspective, it is the dilution of shares ownership, in summary, however, shares owners can benefit from Celcom+Digi telcos with da larger market cap upon merger, to be able to compete against competitors (such as Maxis?). There is a whole stack of documents disclosure of interest, filings, etc. only maybe more meaningful to large ownership such as EPF, etc :D
