I'm not sure any Malaysian banks will go bankrupt, but local banks are most likely to overcome a recession. I bought my shares in 2021, and now I hardly look at it. The dividend received, including the latest declared 0.30, is a total of RM 1.825 per share. I think the risks are much lower than most stocks traded in bursa Malaysia. Just my personal opinion and happy trading.
