Q4 result 2020
- Revenue increase 30.9% ( 61.4 million ) due to stronger demand in the semiconductor + life science industry
- profit before tax ( PBT) increase 64.7% due to sheet metal fabrication + value- added assembly service segment ( contribute 93.1 % of revenue )
- based on SEMI data , semi conductor test equipment is expected to grow by 13 % in 2021, water fab equipment is expected 13 % also . ( uwc group do received higher orders for chip tester and flash memory test handler
- life science industry as another catalyst for uwc , ( front end semiconductor , 5G, and life science will be UWC growth catalyst )
- inventories increase 17 % ( which 6.42m )
- borrowing decrease 77.98 % ( no more hire purchase creditor; banker acceptance , good sign for company )
- receivable increase 330 % ( 19.27m )
- net cash equivalent decrease 91.78 % ( 37.918m ) Becoz 10.459m use for CNC machine ; and 1.882m for industrial robotic arms and material handling system ( management do use cash properly , which is good )
