This stock is too risky as it is very prone to pandemics and crisis.

I will like to bring back the memory in 2009 , Citibank dropped below 1 dollar amid subprime crisis. many many investors lost confidence on bank. now citibank stands at 44.

do you all believe 那里跌倒那里站起来吗?1998 oil price slumped and gain back to hike in 2008, 2008 property subprime crisis but later on property in whole world surge crazily. 2019 covid lead to what?

now Citi is 4.4, not 44.thrre is 10 to 1 consolidation. and btw Citi has consolidate 3 times since the 80s, research properly

i do not believe all recover the same way. in financial market, there always lucky and unlucky people. if u unlucky n lose most of your capital, there is no way back. in 1997, 2002 crash there are a number who lose their houses and life, they finish their life with nothing as far as I know. in market, when someone lose someone will win, it's a casino. it's deceptive to say everybody win. it's a casino

bro thian I think u just bring some counter to stretch your point for your convenient. why don't u take Lehman as your example? 1 Lehman loss cannot even cover your Citibank winning if I assume u use portfolio theory

bro when I trade USD 1 in Citibank in 2009 where are u? talk on paper behind keyboard is so easy. for your info I traded a lot is the stressed asset for 2007 to 2009. you have to show lifetime cagr for people like me to listen as if u r guru

Jason Bro, it is irrelevant to know where was I when you trade in Citibank. when subprime crisis, whatever cagr analysis is useless as market can't project the future trend amid market fear.

haha I said your lifetime cagr, not cagr analysis. nowadays in USA we talk about individual cagr, not company. u want to talk like guru, must verify your lifetime cagr. the way u put forth, so clear when Citi is 1, u r not there. that day when Citi is testing $1, do u know how long it last?

I am not shy . I have my own analysis of every stock I go in, including this one. You definitely won’t bother to know , I knew. I prefer value investing , so I don’t buy in stock and speculate in short term. To answer you, I don’t go all in monies as crazy like you.

bro thian, I did not laugh at u. I just tell u look at chart and tell people all of us can buy at the lowest is foolish. I can tell u at that time I not only own Citi, and I also own Morgan Stanley. and I can tell u at that very day nobody know whether they will go bankrupt, nationalise or save the day after. people like us trade min 1000 shares in USA every time, a few hundreds every night. I can assure you any guru who tell you they can buy a blue chip at us1, those are PhD.

Yes jason bro. Investing stock in visible, touchable and familiar market is the safest. Without these three conditions is called gambling not investing. During financial crisis time, I was in PRC and mixed around with HK financial industry ppl and feel lucky they shared their view to me on Citi. Unlike Lehman, it is too far away in US and we don’t know what is happening there. Come to Malaysia Airport, we can see and feel the pulse of its biz in KLiA. Thousand of Big Birds in the sky, like it or not, still need to land at KLiA. KLiA is the nest of all the birds. Now birds don’t fly but one day they will return. Biz wont collapse

Jason, just happened had a chit chat with my neighbor last evening. She is a retiree and before that she worked for Swire Group in HK for many years. She said the management style has changed a lot in the HQ. I worked in Beijing many years and i always used Beijing Airport and other city airports, the BJ airport is no doubt very busy, however this is mainly due to huge volume of domestic route passengers. With high-speed rail coming up, Chinese prefer railway than airway, i am one of it too. For international route, i see big crowds of International passenger but they appeared mainly in early morning and late night timing. Very little of Chinese do shopping of perfume & cosmetics in BJ airport except tobacco & starbucks, because they like shopping in Thailand, Hong Kong and European countries. International passengers have no chance to shop due to our arrival and departure time are mostly out of business hour, other than that you don't really see international passenger shop in airport.
