This counter a bit high now. Go visit SAPNRG or AIRASIA tomorrow. If you have holding power, these two should be suitable. If you want to invest short term, i think it is dangerous for newbie. Your hand might get burns

That's just my suggestion. First of all, you should ask yourself how strong were you financially. I don't know because I am assuming you are student so better don't put all eggs in one basket. You need to plan your financial correctly for example personal saving, FD, property, share, insurance more or less equally. When I say holding power, it mean that few months up and down is OK for you and you won't panic by selling your share when it is at down trend.

For example, today you put RM5000 in share investment, you bought in AIRASIA stock today for 10 lots at RM2470, you should hold and wait until it raise to meet your investment objective.

For example, my investment objective is to have a minimum 15% return annually, assuming I bought 1 lot at RM1000, I would sell so long the price raise to RM 1150. This is just some simple example to help you understand. You need to define what you are looking for in share investment.

Alright, really appreciate your help and it allow me to have better understanding on this. Errr one last question, for the econbhd should i cut loss or just hold it, for that one i bought a little bit more...

I am not sure at what price you bought Econbhd so is very hard for me to advise. My advise is that don't treat share as gamble, you will surely get burn. You need to at least have some understanding and confident toward to financial and business before you buy the share.

Again, cut loss or not, it's all depend on your HOLDING POWER. For example, if you not needing money urgently, just let it be there and only sell off when you can have some gain. Don't remember the two ways brokeage, clearances, sst fees that you need to paid..

Yup, at first i bought it for long-term since have done some research and it fundamental is strong. But this is also my first share that i bought, don't know what to do after yesterday and today. Right now, i am totally understood and will keep it. Thank you for your kindness, Sir.

I not sure where you read the fundamental of ECONBHD, but for me, if a stock is analyzed by many "experts", I probably won't buy it. These "noise" often distract you from your long-term investment strategy. For me, I only invest in stocks with a good fundamental, good profits and good dividend yield. REITs always my preferences, other than Maybank, BJToto, Magnum and GenM
